Definition talk:Altitude of a Parallelogram
I'm not sure whether it makes more sense to make this a redirect to parallelogram#altitude rather than quadrilateral#altitude. If you redirect it to the former, then if we decide to make parallelogram its own page (rather than just as part of the quadrilateral page) then this redirect will not need to be changed. However, the latter avoids double redirects.
So what about it - easier maintenance against double redirects? Which is better? As a professional software maintenance engineer my view is that the former is paramount, but that's just my viewpoint. --Matt Westwood 06:05, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
I see where you're coming from on that. I personally think that it's better to avoid the double redirect since you have to click through on that, but since you're the one who's most likely to end up going through to fix the link if we make a parallelogram page I'll defer to your judgment. --Cynic (talk) 18:47, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Agh -- yes you're right - I hadn't noticed the double-clickthrough bit. We'll stick to Quadrilateral. --Matt Westwood 19:43, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
