Well, this needs to be fixed. I don't know why it's not parsing since it is good LaTeX, but maybe the right package isn't installed for the site or something.

For now, we could use ⊣ (unicode character 22A3), which may or may not display right on every computer, but it's better than failed to parse.--cynic 16:51, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Or Because.png which you put in outside of the math brackets by putting

[[File:Because.png]]
For example, $q$Because.png$p$ --cynic 17:10, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Seems a fair enough idea, but it would need centralising. At the moment it appears in subscript position.

For the record,

$\because$ returns an upside down "therefore" (i.e. the old-fashioned and deprecated three dots - the LaTeX symbol for that won't come up either.)

The symbol that looks like a backwards $\vdash$ I was using

$\dashv$ for - it's especially important when you're considering statements that are coimplicant (or whatever the precise terminology is that I had to comment out of the Logical Implication pages. --Matt Westwood 18:49, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome to adjust the image if you want, although it looks centralized to me. I'd guess that different computers are going to render the stuff in slightly different positions, so it can be perfect for everyone. The best solution would be to see if we can get either of the because LaTeX symbols working, which is a job for Joe I guess. --cynic 20:48, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

The above discussion is, of course, now entirely irrelevant. File tag updated anyway :p --Alec (talk) 13:09, 25 June 2011 (CDT)
