Area charge density?

I've always known it as surface charge density - might not make much difference but I can't actually find a direct link to "area charge density" as such.

I think the area/surface charge density is more common, but I've definitely seen it used for area mass density as well. Although that may have just been one professor. Still, it's sometimes nice to be able to distinguish more quickly between area and volumetric mass density. --Alec (talk) 04:43, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
