Talk:Tree has Degree One Nodes

I've never actually seen this result spelt out in any of the Graph Theory books I've encountered. It's a result that appears to be taken for granted. I've therefore had to work it out from scratch, which is probably why it's a bit unwieldy (this being the first draft).

If anyone has a better or quicker way of proving this, then please feel free to add it (but leave the existing one commented out, if you would). --Matt Westwood 21:03, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
