Definition

A continued square root is an expression of the form:

$a_0 + \sqrt {a_1 + \sqrt {a_2 + \sqrt {a_3 + \sqrt {\cdots} } } }$

where $\left\langle{a_n}\right\rangle$ is an arbitrary sequence of numbers.
