Definition
Two (straight) lines are oblique if and only if they are not perpendicular.
Oblique Angle
A (plane) angle is an oblique angle if and only if is not an integer multiple of a right angle.
Oblique Axes
Oblique axes are a pair of coordinate axes which are not at right angles to each other.
Oblique Cone
An oblique cone is a cone whose apex does not intersect a perpendicular through the center of its base.

An oblique coordinate system is a coordinate system in which the position of a point is determined by its relation to a set of straight coordinate axes which are oblique.
