Definition

Let $V$ be a vector space.

Let $A : V \to V$ be a linear operator such that:

$\forall v \in H: A v = 0_V$

where $0_V$ is the zero vector of $V$.

Then $A$ is called the zero operator, and is denoted as $\mathbf 0$.
