Can we revert back to the usual style for presentation of these multiple pages? It has evolved over the course of some years, and just changing it now to something different is a retrograde step. --prime mover (talk) 17:31, 6 August 2017 (EDT)

Sure, I think, if only I knew what the style is. Less transcluded text on the main page? --barto (talk) 17:42, 6 August 2017 (EDT)
Definition as pain page header, level 2, then transclude at level 3 and not to go too deep. Just the main sections. And categorising as subsets of "real analysis" and "complex analysis" is a divergence from the usual style. I haven't got the patience to hack my way thorugh everything at the moment, but then I haven't got the patience for any of it, I just want to wave a magic wand for everything to be correct. Life is destined to disappoint me. :-) --prime mover (talk) 18:27, 6 August 2017 (EDT)
Copy. --barto (talk) 02:16, 7 August 2017 (EDT)
But it's a problem to transclude only one of the definitions at Definition:Partial Derivative/Real Analysis/Point, because those "Let .. Let" introductions won't be transcluded. Copying them to this page would solve it, but is inelegant. --barto (talk) 05:40, 7 August 2017 (EDT)
What do you think of the current structure at Definition:Differentiable Mapping? I have kept the multiple definitions because otherwise I'd have to duplicate text. --barto (talk) 07:12, 7 August 2017 (EDT)

As the subpage "Real Analysis" is about Real-Valued Functions, we can rename it as such, in accordance with Definition:Derivative etc. --barto (talk) 12:30, 7 August 2017 (EDT)
