Historical Note on Odd Perfect Number is Product of Square and Prime
The suggestion that an Odd Perfect Number is Product of Square and Prime was made by René Descartes in $1638$.
It was superseded by Leonhard Paul Euler's demonstration Form of Odd Perfect Number which gave more detailed information on its structure.
