Hello, I have an idea to formalize this proof. We can fix $\lambda$ to be a constan and we make $n$ tend to infinity. So, $p$ will be small and $\lambda$ will have reasonable size.

Then, we need to prove that $\lim_{n \to \infty}{\frac{Bin X=k}{Poi X=k}} = 1$.--AlienSnow (talk) 16:30, 29 December 2019 (EST)

Well maybe, but the statement of the proof is as it stands in the source cited -- if you need to create something which says something different then write another page, and then you can use that as the basis of what to put on this one. --prime mover (talk) 18:45, 29 December 2019 (EST)
