Stirling Formula Proof 2

Isn't it shorter to just estimate by Taylor formula (as done anyway) that $|d_{n+1}-d_n|$ is smaller than $c/n^2$ and, therefore, the sequence is convergent? --Milen

That's a neat argument; you're welcome to add it.
One small problem: Since at ProofWiki a proof (or part of one) should never (or very rarely) be replaced or deleted, both approaches to show that $d_n$ converges will have to be included. There is currently no clear policy on how to present different arguments for a part of a proof (as opposed to Help:Multiple Proofs). So feel free to do whatever makes most sense to you, but be sure to preserve the current argument. --barto (talk) (contribs) 14:29, 28 November 2017 (EST)
