Definition
In a spherical triangle, two angles, two sides, or an angle and a side are of the same species if and only if:
- both are between $0 \degrees$ and $90 \degrees$
or:
- both are between $90 \degrees$ and $180 \degrees$.
Otherwise they are of opposite species.
