Spurious members

If a page is this category is not a proven result, or if the proof given is marked as incomplete, should the {{qed}}-template be deleted from that page so that the page is removed from this category? ––St.nerol (talk) 14:06, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

No, I don't think we care that much about membership in this category. It being in the maintenance categories is enough. Caliburn (talk) 14:14, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
The reason I'm asking is for statistical purposes: "This wiki has so-and-so many thousands of proven results." (It would be misleading anyway, since there are many more proofs than proven results, and this category really collects the former.) But perhaps such page statistics can be obtained in some other way? –St.nerol (talk) 14:39, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
If it's not complete then it should not have the qed template on the bottom of the page.
