There are two main sources of uncertainty:
Uncertainty caused by Randomness
Uncertainty caused by randomness is caused by physical conditions that cannot be controlled.
Uncertainty caused by Incomplete Knowledge
Uncertainty caused by incomplete knowledge is caused by physical conditions that are not fully understood.
