Mistake
- [$1167$ is] The largest of $256$ numbers which cannot be expressed as the sum of at most $5$ composite numbers. [Guy 136]
Correction
This should say:
- [$1167$ is] The largest of $256$ numbers which cannot be expressed as the sum of at most $5$ squares of composite numbers. [Guy 136]
(emphasis added)
The mistake appears in (and has been copied from) Richard K. Guy's Unsolved Problems in Number Theory, 2nd ed. of $1994$.
However, in Unsolved Problems in Number Theory, 3rd ed. this has been corrected.
