I'm working on the proof of this, but I'm not sure what kind of mathematical maturity to require from the reader. Do handle decompositions need to be explained? The Whitney trick? Zelmerszoetrop 17:59, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

The way I'm working is that everything on the page needs to reference something else which has already been explained and/or proved. If you reference "decompositions" you need to add a page explaining what a "decomposition" is. Same for the "Whtiney Trick". --prime mover (talk) 19:37, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
