The seminorm induces a pseudometric space structure on the vector space, (like norms induce a metric space structure - but here we might have $\map p x = 0$ yet $x \ne 0$) and we are considering balls in that pseudometric. I will clear this up. Caliburn (talk) 11:53, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
