About me
I'm a M. Sc. mathematics student (with a minor in Computer Science). Due to a lack of "real" Computer Science courses and certain other circumstances (mostly administrative neglect, stupid politics and general apathy towards Computer Science minors) I took a lot of mathematics courses from a broad variety of fields (Numerical Analysis, Differential Geometry, Real and Complex Analysis, Functional Analysis, Algebra, Number Theory, Theoretical Computer Science, Topology, Graph Theory, ...)
My speciality is Real and Complex Analysis, especially Fourier/Harmonic Analysis. I also like Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorics, but didn't take a lot of courses, because my university doesn't have a designated Combinatorics professor.
Projects
- Fix every questionable proof I can. Some candidates:
- Banach Space of Continuous Functions on Compact Space
- Continuous Image of Compact Space is Compact/Corollary 3
- Cover of Interval By Closed Intervals is not Pairwise Disjoint
- Exponential Tends to Zero and Infinity
- Integral of Arctangent Function
- Inverse of Order Isomorphism is Order Isomorphism
- Lebesgue Integral is Extension of Darboux Integral
- Region Less One Point is Region (that one, unfortunately, doesn't work like stated)
- Prime Enumeration Function is Primitive Recursive
- Symmetry Group is Group
- Bring the Analysis category up to speed (especially stuff about Lebesgue $p$-spaces and Measure/Integration Theory in general)
- Do some Fourier Analysis :-)
