Suppose a writer has copied a section of material and pasted it into another page, but has inadequately replaced the material which is different between the source and target pages.

The writer has committed a copypasto.

This is an abbreviation for mistake made while performing a copy and paste operation.

Such mistakes can be corrected by meticulous proof-reading.
