Definition
Let $B$ be a body in a rotating frame of reference $\FF$.
The Coriolis acceleration $\mathbf a$ is the acceleration imparted to $B$ caused by the Coriolis force $\mathbf F$ on $B$.
The direction of $\mathbf a$ is that of the line of action of $\mathbf F$
