Definition

Drag is defined as the resistance to motion of a body $B$ through a fluid $F$.

The amount of drag depends on:

the velocity of $B$
the size and shape of $B$
the density and viscosity of $F$.

There is no adequate formula for drag which can be applied in every situation.
