Definition
The power series expansion of the exponential function:
- $\map \exp z = 1 + \dfrac z {1!} + \dfrac {z^2} {2!} + \dfrac {z^3} {3!} + \cdots + \dfrac {z^n} {n!} + \cdots$
is known as the exponential series.
