Definition
A frustum is the part of a $3$-dimensional figure cut off by $2$ parallel planes.
Base
Each of the two parallel planes which define a frustum is known as a base of the frustum.
Altitude
The altitude $h$ of a frustum is the distance between the two bases of the frustum.
