Definition talk:Very Strong Zero

Why is this handwaving? It's a definition, and it's the from Knuth verbatim. Handwaving is for proofs with missing steps, surely? --prime mover (talk) 17:38, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- "a variation of zero that annihilates anything it is multiplied by, even if that other factor is undefined".
- where variation, annihilates, multiplied, are undefined terms, and multiplying by undefined is also undefined.
- That requires clarification and felt handwaving as a definition to me, because I can't do anything with it with so many imprecise, "handwaving" terms in use. If you feel another template is more appropriate, feel free to replace it. But it is surely not about refactoring since the structural integrity of the page is fine. — Lord_Farin (talk) 17:53, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- MissingLinks might cover it I suppose, then it's just a simple matter of writing the definitions for those imprecise handwavey terms. Surely there's someone with the clevers to do it. --prime mover (talk) 19:53, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- I have elaborated the page a bit and added some links. Is it time to remove the template? –St.nerol (talk) 09:44, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
