Common values of confidence levels are:
- $90 \%$, corresponding to $\alpha = 0 \cdotp 10$
- $95 \%$, corresponding to $\alpha = 0 \cdotp 05$
- $99 \%$, corresponding to $\alpha = 0 \cdotp 01$
- $99 \cdotp 9 \%$, corresponding to $\alpha = 0 \cdotp 001$
