Definition
Let $S$ be a set of observations of a quantitative variable.
The $g$-statistics on $S$ are the statistical coefficients $g_1$ and $g_2$, defined as:
- $g_1$ is the skewness $\gamma_1$ of the elements of $S$
- $g_2$ is the kurtosis $\gamma_2$ of the elements of $S$.
