Linear Interval Scale: Also known as
A linear interval scale is also known as just an interval scale.
This page needs the help of a knowledgeable authority. In particular: not completely sure of the above. Nelson merely has the entry "interval scale: see "scales of measurement" and then has 4 sections under that entry: (i) nominal, (ii) ordinal, (iii) linear interval, (iv) linear ratio. There is some discussion of non-linear scales, but not "non-linear interval scale", so it is not certain that there does exist an "interval scale" which is non-linear. Hence it is not completely certain whether an "interval scale" is in fact a direct synonym for a linear interval scale or not. If you are knowledgeable in this area, then you can help $\mathsf{Pr} \infty \mathsf{fWiki}$ by resolving the issues. To discuss this page in more detail, feel free to use the talk page.
