Definition

The zenzizenzizenzic of a number is its eighth power.

It derives from square of a squared square; the word zenzic is (or was) German for square.

The word appears to have been coined by Robert Recorde in his 1557 work The Whetstone of Witte (but he spelt it zenzizenzizenzike).

The word is particularly linguistically notable for being the only word in the English language with six Zs in it.
