Definition

A sectoral harmonic is a surface harmonic in the form:

$\cos m \phi \, \map { {P_n}^m} {\cos \theta}$

or:

$\sin m \phi \, \map { {P_n}^m} {\cos \theta}$

such that $m = n$.
