Definition
Let $A$, $B$ and $P$ be collinear points.
Let $P$ lie between $A$ and $B$.
Then $P$ divides $AB$ internally in the ratio $m : n$ if and only if:
- $AP : PB = m : n$
and the ratio $m : n$ is positive.
